Premium Arabica Coffee from Sul de Minas, Brasil
Brasil is the world’s largest coffee producer and produces around 25% of the world’s supply of coffee. Eighty percent of coffee from Brasil is Arabica. Our Premium Arabic Coffee is from the region of Sul de Minas. Which is world renowned as the best coffee regions in Brasil.
Sul de Minas (Southern Minas Gerais state) which is located approximately 2-3 hours northwest of Sao Paulo by car. This area is hilly and green and notably cooler then the rest of the state, and some locations are subject to temperatures just above freezing in the winter months. With a elevation of anywhere from 3,000 to 4,000 feet above sea level.
On our Farm we have our harvest season run from late May thru August. We harvest two types of Arabica bean on our Farm the Mundo Novo and Catuai coffee bean. We use the dry-process (Also known as the natural method)for drying our beans which produces a coffee with a heavy in body, sweet, smooth and complex taste.
